Steve has a proven track record of success with large-scale, mission-critical integrated system implementations. Steve's focus over the past seven years has been the design and implementation of comprehensive DSS and OLAP solutions for major service and manufacturing corporations across the United States and Canada.

Experience
Steve acted as an integral team member at many Fortune 500 companies and at a number of small to mid-size businesses as a Systems Architect / Project Manager and Internal Consultant Manager. He is also the Coordinator for the Hyperion Practice. Steve served as a lead data modeling/database design resource or in system review and optimization in the development numerous OLAP systems at over twenty different companies. This work often includes extensive system documentation. He also conducted a number of end user and system developer training classes, and has acted as a mentor for both employees and clients. Several software firms have had Steve beta test their products at both client sites and independently. A number of organizations have given Steve opportunities to speak on OLAP related topics. He was also a Primary Speaker at Hyperion Solutions 2000.
While working at two fortune 500 health care companies as an employee, Steve was instrumental in the successful delivery of several versions of management reporting systems the complete system development life cycle. He preformed a variety of tasks including OLAP development, data validation, software testing, software support, supported classroom training, wrote program documentation, installation instructions, and trouble shooting guide. His contribution to the project helped the team win the 1995 Financial Leadership Award.
During graduate school Steve also worked for the college of business's Executive MBA program. He assisted in student recruitment and interviews for Executive MBA enrollment, designed and managed a relational database for the Executive MBA Office, and designed relational database using CASE software for the Office of Continuing Education.
Steve worked in the military as an Army Captain in a variety of leadership rolls. He held the positions of Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer in a 72 man tank company. Steve was the responsible officer for nearly 30 million dollars in equipment. He used his management and leadership skill to continuously earn near perfect marks in a Division Annual General Inspections. The First Infantry Division recognized him as the best company level Executive Officer and as a superb division level Liaison Officer. During Steve's military career, he was awarded 12 medals, received 4 certificates of appreciation, and a Presidential Valorous Unit Citation. Steve also published a historical research paper in Military History Magazine, published Desert Storm combat photographs in two issues of Esquire Magazine, and was interviewed and featured in the book Company C by John Sack.
